NATIONAL DIPLOMA PROGRAMMES

These are of two and half years full time programmes with a six months of work attachment. The programmes aim at:

• Producing skilled manpower at technician level to meet the demand of the industries
• Preparing the students for progressing to higher level of studies.
• Instilling sound common skills in to the students.

Currently, the following programmes in the National Diploma (ND) Level under Brunei Darussalam Technical and Vocational Education Council (BDTVEC) are being offered:

Aircraft Department:

• ND in Aircraft Engineering (Airframe/Engine)
• ND in Aircraft Engineering (Avionics)

Building Design, Construction, and Management Department:

• NC in Construction (part-time)
• ND in Construction (full-time)
• ND in Interior Design
• ND in Property Management
• ND in Geomatics

Computing and Information Technology Department:

• ND in Computer Studies
• ND in Information Library Management

Electrical and Electronic Department:

• ND in Electrical and Electronic Engineering
• ND in Electronic and Communication Engineering
• ND in Audio and Video Technology

Hospitality and Tourism Department:

• ND in Hotel and Catering Management
• ND in Travel and Tourism Services

Mechanical Department:

• ND in Fabrication and Welding Engineering
• ND in Mechanical Engineering

Science Department:

• ND in Science

These are one year institution based programmes to prepare the participants for National Diploma Programmes.

Currently, the following programmes in the Pre-National Diploma (PND) Level under Brunei Darussalam Technical and Vocational Education Council (BDTVEC) are being offered:

Aircraft Department:

• PND in Aircraft Engineering

Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department:

• PND in Audio and Video Technology
• PND in Electrical and Electronic Engineering
• PND in Electronic and Communication Engineering

Currently, the following programmes in the NationalTrade Certificates (NTC) Level under Brunei Darussalam Technical and Vocational Education Council (BDTVEC) are being offered:

Hospitality and Tourism Department:

• Apprenticeship Training Scheme Professional Cookery and Services
• NTC2 Advance Cookery and Services
• NTC3 Basic Cookery, Food and Beverage Services
• NTC3 in Accomodation
